Real Ales, Guest Ales and Ciders

We always have the renowned local Butcombe Bitter on tap, and we have a policy of offering at least one different guest ale – EVERY WEEK!  We have guest ales from around the UK, including Scotland and The Isle of Man, and we have a really great reputation and following for these different ales.

Recent and forthcoming guest ales include:

  • Moorlands - Old Specked Hen

  • Bushy's - Ruby Mild, Manannans Cloak, Celebration Ale

  • Smiles - May Fly, Old Russ Ale, Maiden Leg Over

  • Batemans - Summer Swallow, Winter Wellie

  • Ashvine - Max Headroom, Contra Flow, Men at Work

  • Gales - Christmas Ale, Harvest Ale

  • Brakspears - Leaf Fall, Resolution, Three Sheets

  • Charles Wells - Bombadier, Summer Solstice, Lock Stock & Barrel

  • Moles - Moelgrip, Moel

  • Tomintoul - Caledonian Trick or Treat, The Scottish Bard

  • Butcombe - Butcombe Gold, Butcombe Blond

  • Theakstons - Theakstons Best

  • Marstons - Pedigree, Sweet Chariot

We also have the renowned local cider, Ashton Press, on tap. Ashton Press is a Medium Dry Cider of 4.8% ABV made from all English apples, which are locally grown and conditioned in oak vats.

A premium quality cider that tastes of apples!

Overall, The Panborough Inn is THE place to come to relax, listen to music or socialise with friends and we are famous for our warm welcome, excellent service and relaxed atmosphere.
