The Restaurant
|
|
|
|
There
is a very relaxing and friendly ambiance to the restaurant areas at
The Panborough Inn. We have three restaurant areas for dining, each giving
a different feel and ambiance. We can seat up to 70 persons in our
restaurant areas, plus a further 30 in our bar area,
where the same menu is available if required.
The
restaurant and bar areas at The Panborough Inn are comfortably furnished
and decorated in a traditional country inn style.

We also
have a range of top quality drinks on offer, including a range of wines from around the world. We will amaze you
with our choice, quality, value and service!
A significant proportion of our custom comes from regular repeat business, and through
‘word of mouth’ recommendations from our Customers. We are also recommended by most of the local B&B’s, Hotels, Guesthouses and Caravan & Camping Sites
who advise that they receive excellent reports back! |

Profile of the Chefs
|
|
Our Chefs,
Gene Rabbitts and Philip Canneaux, have a wealth of experience gained
over many years of producing food to the highest standards in numerous Hotels and Restaurants throughout the South of England.
Head Chef Gene,
who was born locally, trained in Somerset before moving to the Army
where he prepared meals for Senior Officers. Whilst working at
Aberfield Garrison, he was the recipient of various awards for the
quality and presentation of his food. Gene has been resident at
The Panborough Inn for the last four years.
Phillip originally trained in London and having worked in various 5 Star Hotels, moved to
the Alexander House, which boasts a three rosette restaurant.

Fresh Ingredients &
Home-made Food
|
|
Our Chef’s insist on using only the finest fresh ingredients, locally produced where
possible, and they make all their own stocks, soups, sauces, pates, pastry, desserts, and dishes in-house.
It is said that 'the proof of the pudding is in the eating' and this is
supported by the
high number of ‘Compliments to the Chef’ comments passed back to the kitchen.
