Restaurant Menu

The Restaurant Menu is developed  and revised on a regular basis, although retaining core dishes subject to seasonal availability.  The following is our current selection, but if there is a dish that you are particularly interested to sample, then please check before travelling.

Appetisers

  • Soup of the Day (V) served with crusty bread - Please ask your server if you would like warm Bread

  • Prawn Cocktail with Marie Rose sauce served with a crisp fresh Salad

  • Deep Fried Whitebait served with buttered brown Bread and crisp Salad

  • Tempura Vegetables (V) served with crisp Salad and Sweet Chilli sauce

  • Breaded Garlic Mushroom (V) served with crisp Salad and Garlic Bread slice

  • Homemade Chicken liver Pate and local Chutney served with either warm Toast or Baguette with a fresh crisp Salad

  • Deep Fried Somerset Brie with Local Harvest Chutney from Rose Farm (V) served with a crisp salad

  • BBQ Chicken Wings served on a bed of fresh crisp Salad

  • Combo for Two: Garlic Mushrooms, Japanese Prawns, Chicken Satay & Breaded Brie served with fresh crisp Salad and assorted Dips

Main Courses

  • Forest Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Breast served with fresh Vegetables and a choice of Potato

  • Duck Breast in Orange and Cranberry Sauce served with fresh Vegetables and a choice of Potato

  • Panborough Fish Pie - Salmon & Haddock in a White sauce topped with Mash Potato served with fresh Vegetables

  • Fillets of John Dory in Ginger and Lemon Grass Broth served with fresh Vegetables and a choice of Potato

  • Vegetable Ratatouille Stuffed Crepe (V) served with either a Cheese or Stilton sauce with fresh Vegetables and a choice of Potato

  • Stuffed Pepper with Halloumi Cheese and Cous Cous (V) served with fresh vegetable and a choice of potato

The Potato choices are:  Dauphinois, Sauté, New, Jacket or French Fries

  • Vegetable Curry  (V) served with Rice Naan bread and Poppadom

Main Grills

All of our Steaks are supplied by Hectors Farm shop, Wedmore, Somerset.

  • 10 oz Rump Steak  griddled to your liking
  • 10 oz Sirloin Steak griddled to your liking

  • 8 oz Fillet Steak griddled to your liking 

  • 8 oz Gammon Steak

  • The Panborough Mixed Grill served with Rump Steak, Gammon Steak, 2 Sausages and a Lamb Chop with two Eggs

  • Tornado Rossini - Fillet Steak served on a Crouton with Pate and rich Madeira Mushroom sauce, fresh Vegetables and choice of Potato
  • Lamb Rump served with a Rosemary sauce, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Onion Rings fresh Vegetables and a choice of Potato

All Main Grills come with:  Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Onion Rings and French Fries.  Please feel free to ask for an alternative.

  • French Trimmed Rack of Lamb & Mint Crust served with a Mint and Honey glaze fresh Vegetables and a choice of Potato

  • Oven Baked Pheasant Breast served on a bed of Whole Grain Mustard Mash in a Hedgerow sauce and fresh Vegetables
